A Facebook Page shared a picture on 21st April, 2022, along a claim that Gohar Rizvi, International Affairs Advisor to Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, has resigned. The post also claimed that Gohar Rizvi resigned after receiving the message of the fall of current government.

In order to investigate the claim, we searched for keyword “Gohar Rizvi Resignation” on Google search engine and found an article from Medium.com Netra News in which Gohar Rizvi denied rumors about his resignation. Furthermore, no information about Gohar Rizvi’s resignation has been found in the local or international media.
