Recently, a video has been circulating on social media platforms in Pakistan, alleging that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Member of National Assembly Faheem Khan was beaten by public on a routine flight.
Inorder to check the claim we analyzed keyframes and performed a reverse image search and found the video dates back to 26 Dec, 2022 from Bangkok, Thailand. The brawl took place on December 26 on Thai Smile Airways’ Bangkok-Kolkata flight.
Based on subsequent investigations and expert analysis, It has been determined that the video circulating on social media alleging that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Member of National Assembly Faheem Khan was beaten by members of the public on a routine flight is not accurate. Through analysis of keyframes and a reverse image search, it has been found that the video dates back to December 26, 2022, and is actually from Bangkok, Thailand. The video was falsely associated with Faheem Khan in an attempt to defame him.
