Fact Check

In order to investigate the claim, we searched for keywords “Quad Summit 2022” and found a coverage from “Aaj Tak” an Indian news outlet. The video shows the Prime Minister of India, Modi, and the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, walking together, Joe Biden shaking hands with the Prime Minister of Australia first and then talking to Prime Minister Modi, laughing and shaking hands with him.

The social media post had shared only the first 14 seconds of this video with false context.

Conclusion

Our research confirmed that the video is being shared by the opposition party “India National Congress” with false context to defame the current ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was an effort to portray that Indian Prime Minister was ignored by Joe Biden and that he has little to no voice in international platforms which is shameful for the country.
