Chaudhry Moonis Elahi is a Pakistani politician from Pakistan Muslim League- Q (Quaid-e-Azam group), who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since October 2018. He was the Minister for Water Resources from 13th July 2021 till 10th April 2022. His party has been a strong ally of former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, during the no-confidence motion against him.

A screenshot of Pakistani news channel along with notification letter from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) went viral on social media claiming Chaudhry Moonis Elahi has officially joined PTI and is granted ticket for NA-80 constituency for upcoming general elections 2023.
